I hear often about Satin Ice and some of you even say it is the best fondant for texture and taste, so I was wondering where to buy it?
I live in Québec (Canada) and would very like to find Satin Ice...but where.... Do you buy it on the internet? What's the price?
Please help me... ![]()

If you live in Quebec you can get it from LaGaterie in Montreal ![]()
If you can't find it in Ontario I would suggest contacting LaGaterie. Shipping between Quebec and Ontario will be cheaper, no money exchange rate, duties or taxes. They speak english so you don't have to be worried about that and they are very nice.
Here is the website the contact info is there. I would suggest calling you will get a quicker response than e-mail.

I was wondering if the satin icing recipe from cc recipes is the same as the satin ice ya all are talking about. I have never used fondant and I am looking for a good recipe for it. The satin icing recipe said it was also good for decorations. Does anyone know anything about it?
