I hear often about Satin Ice and some of you even say it is the best fondant for texture and taste, so I was wondering where to buy it?

I live in Québec (Canada) and would very like to find Satin Ice...but where.... Do you buy it on the internet? What's the price?

Please help me... icon_sad.gif

You can buy it direct from the company at www.satinfinefoods.com. I use it all the time and I agree that it is the best out there.

They DO ship to Canada, when you add something to your cart, if you look down, above the check out , you will see a shipping calculator, it gives you the option to chose Canada as you destination. HTH.

If you can't find it in Ontario I would suggest contacting LaGaterie. Shipping between Quebec and Ontario will be cheaper, no money exchange rate, duties or taxes. They speak english so you don't have to be worried about that and they are very nice.

Here is the website the contact info is there. I would suggest calling you will get a quicker response than e-mail.

I was wondering if the satin icing recipe from cc recipes is the same as the satin ice ya all are talking about. I have never used fondant and I am looking for a good recipe for it. The satin icing recipe said it was also good for decorations. Does anyone know anything about it?
