Can I Freeze Mmf?

My mil is wanting me to make a cake for memorial weekend but I already have alot going on the week prior to so I was wondering if I made a cake with mmf accents could I freeze it? If so how do or did you guys do it? Did you put it in a container a box etc..... Thank you!!

Okay, here is what I think. The cake and icing can be frozen. MMF doesn't freeze. It gets too much moisture and starts to break down. If you are going to be pressed for time bake the cake ahead and freeze, make the icing and freeze, make the MMF and wrap good and store in an air tight container. Let the cake and icing thaw out the night before you need the cake and assemble that morning. You might even make the fondant decorations ahead and let them dry. Place them on the cake the day you need them.

I always freeze my mmf and I have never had a problem. I don't freeze it on the cake though. I let it thaw andthen knead it until it is soft again. It lasts a few months like that.
