Extending Icing? Don't Have Quite Enough...

I have a little bit - maybe 1.5 cups - of crusting cream cheese bc icing left over. (recipe from this site, used on RV cake, got raves at work)
I would like to use it to ice some cupcakes for game night with my friends tomorrow, but I know this won't be enough.
Is there anything I can add to make it go a bit further? I know I will lose the stiffness of the icing, but it won't really be necessary. I am just going to pipe swirls or something on the top of the cupcakes, not pipe roses. I mostly just want to be able to finish off this icing.
(Plus, I saw someones idea to make a strawberry mix with a box of cheesecake pudding, and I think this would be AWESOME with a little cc icing.)
Can I fold in some whipped cream, or ???
TIA for your help!

I would say thin it down some and then frost your cupcakes with your spatula instead of swirls so you don't use as much per cupcake. Good Luck!
