Am I insane or is there a six inch square pan in existence?! I stupidly quoted on a two-tiered square cake, assuming I HAD a 6" square for the top cake, but I don't!....I always panic and become very agreeable with people over the phone! icon_redface.gif So somebody please tell me I can buy one next week!

I haven't seen a 6 inch, but I do have an 8 inch. I got it at Michaels. Could you make an 8 inch and just cut it down?

Use any square or rectangular pan that you have that is over 6 inches. After the cake is cooled, cut the cake into a 6 inch square. I've done this many times. YOu actually get a nicer cake with very sharp edges!

Mine is an 8" too, I was thinking that's probably what I'll have to do....just cut it into a 6" square.....then I'll have crumb issues!!
