Let me just say this is NOT my YEAR!!!! I've been involved in 2 car accidents since Jan (both of which were not my fault by the way), then tonight my 16 year old cousin whom I'm teaching to cake decorate calls me and says..."Did you remember about the Wedding cake for tomorrow?" 
!! I said NO. She said I talked to you about it last week, then it donned on me. I was at her house for about 5 min last week and she mentioned me helping her do what she called a wedding shower cake and I told her we could get together on Friday or Sat of this week and work on it together and to call me when she found out the details. So, tonight she says well, the wedding is tomorrow at 1:00 and the cake need to be Vanilla & Chocolate and feed 100 people!!!! SO, I'm about 40 min away from my house and am suppose to be spending the night out of town with my husband for our anniversary but instead I get in the car, go to the store and come home to bake and decorate a wedding cake for tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
And to top it all off I get a speeding ticket on the way home from the store, my first speeding ticket EVER!!! 
I'm so freaking mad right now I just need to vent to some people who I know will understand!!! I love my cousin to death but right now I could just choke her!! Please tell me you feeeeeelllllll my pain!!! Thanks guys!

Holy Moly Carrie, I so feel your pain!! That is just horrible!!
So you have to bake and decorate it all before 1 tomorrow? I feel so bad for you. Is your cousin going to help? Are you getting paid at least? I wish I lived closer so I could come and help.
And on top of that, the speeding ticket... 
! I hope after tonight your run of bad luck will be all over!! Let us know how it goes and vent all you want! Poor thing!
YIKES. You better get off this fourm and get baking. My gosh! I DO feel sorry for you. How in the world are you going to bake and decorate a cake by tomorrow morning so it can be delivered on time. I would be FREAKING out by now!

I knew I could count on my fellow CCer's!!! The only reason I'm on here now is because the cakes are baking as I type!!! My husband stayed out of town and was going to watch a movie (he can walk to the theater). He's a VERY understanding husband but tonight I didn't have time to stick around to see how mad he was!! Hopefully I can have the baked and at least iced smooth then go spend the night with him and tomorrow morning get up early and decorate them!! Believe me the decorations will be VERY minimal!! Thank heaven I'm not new to decorating or else I would be freaking out!!
