My first tiered/stacked cake! It was for a 50th anniversary party for a family member. I was so nervous. But now I feel a little more confident to be more creative and branch out. I studied CC's articles, forums and pictures all week. Thanks you all for all of your help! It's the only pic in my photos.

the cake looks absolutely beautiful! You're a natural! (and...may I add ...without sounding like a freakish weirdo....that the photo of you is also beautiful as well).
Welcome to CC!

LOL! You are too funny! Thank you for both compliments. And I don't think your a freakish wierdo. Hair and make-up does wonders for a person icon_wink.gif

Thank you everyone for your kind words. This website is so dang addicting! If it wasn't for everyone's cake disasters, newbie questions and support that I have been reading, I would never have attempted it. I'm learning so much here. Wilton classes are great for hands on instruction, but the education I get from CC is priceless...and it's a good thing, since it's free icon_lol.gif
