How Do I Make My Pictures Smaller To Attach To A Post?

Is there a link or something that tells me how to make my picture smaller so I can attach it to a post?
Thanks!

photobucket will resize them. Also, depending on your photo software, it may do it. I have Kodak and when I edit a picture, then save it - chosing "save as", then the 3rd box down, says "resize" and it has an option to change the size, including one that says "best for web".
I just resized my photo of "Madame Strawberry" down to avatar-size.
I exported from Picasa, my photo programs (which is free online from google), into MS Paint, then resized from there.
In paint, you go to Image, then choose stretch/skew. Make sure your image quality is set to automatic, or you'll get a pixelated image. Decrease the height and width by equal percentages so you don't distort the photo.
Image attributes will will show you the size in pixels, inches, or cm. I had to resize about 6 times to get it the correct size for avatars, but to post a picture it doesn't need to be as small. I can't remember the size limit.
Good luck!
I got this from fellow CC user ... it is so simple, just create an account in www.photobucket.com, upload the picture to the album and click EDIT then choose RESIZE option and just click on MessageBoards that will make the pic compatable to the message boards. Then save the altered pic to your PC and upload it from there to CC ![]()
i use this site to create Avatars and to shrink my pics down
