Wow! Good job and I bet they loved you at that auction!!!!!! I am sure they will ask you again next year. BTW just how big is your town?
oh wow.........that's incredible........it IS a great cake........but wow....how big is it??
Mt. Airy has a population of about 8,500 people. I live in Troy which is to the south and we have only about 2500 or so people. That's a fabulous amount to raise at an auction for one cake -- and it's so cute! Congratulations! I might just have to do a cake for our Relay for Life next weekend and get them to auction it off (thanks for the idea)!

WOW!!!!! That is Great!!!! Congratulations! I can't wait to see what you do for next years auction. I know you are on cloud 9.
You go girl! I know your school appreciated your donation! Great work. (I'll bet you're somewhat of a celebrity in your town now!) Not that you weren't already that is!
egarman... how do you know all this? I live here but have no idea how many people live here!
We live in the real town of Mayberry! Not too big but not extremely small either.
Wow! I never knew there was a real town called Mayberry! Love your cake. I'm sure everyone was thrilled! Bravo!
What a fantastic price for your cake! It makes it worthwhile to donate cakes when you get that amount!
Don't feel bad! I've been through Mt. Airy numerous times but I actually looked it up on the Internet tonight!!! I looked at the Mt. Airy home page; it's really cute. Talks about being "Mayberry" and has a picture of Andy on it. I guess most people call it Mayberry and know where they're talking about even tho that's not the "official" name!!! I'm only about 90 minutes from you. Ellen
