Has anyone tried to or know if it even works? I want to add a flavor to my plain icky fondant to make it not so icky!!
If you have done it, what have you used? I was thinking something fruity. maybe? I am kind of embarrrased to not know. any suggestions?
I have read of members using Lorann oil to flavor their fondant. It does not take much, and does not change the texture of the fondant on them.

if you use a flavoring oil to flavor it, is it still alright if you color it too?

Yes you can flavor and color your fondant. Won't hurt it. ![]()
As was mentioned before you can flavor it with candy oils, but you can also use extracts as well, you just will need to add a little powder suger if it becomes sticky.
Okay, so I can add extract to my Wilton fondant???? I started the fondant course tonight and tasted the wilton for the first time....ick
it was so bad...I had NO idea!!!
There has to be a way to make it better, please???
