I just made an orange butter cake. Had some Grand Marnier in it. Stuck to the Frickin' pan!!!
And I don't know why, either. I used plenty of pan grease. The same pan grease I used earlier in the day to make a coconut bundt cake. ![]()

Just when I think I'm getting ahead of the game, something like this happens. I should have known something like this would happen when I splashed granulated sugar into my left eye at the start of this cake. Bad omen....
I know that you stated that you made another cake earlier, if it was the same size pan? If so then did you wash the pan? I have done the same thing (kinda) and forgot to was h the pan and when I re used the pan I put in more pan grease. It stuck super bad. The cake came out in pieces. Just asking. Other wise maybe you grease the pan too much. That could also make the cake stock to the pan. Did that too.
It was the same size pan, but a different one. I have several bundt pans, and used a different one so I'd have a different design. I had some batter left over and put that in a mini bundt pan so I"d have 3 minis, too.
On the mini's I used pam with flour, and the big one I used pan grease. BOTH of them stuck solid. Really burns me up. Now I have to make them over ![]()
some days it just doesn't pay to get the pans out of the cupboard.
Sorry your having a "day"
