Is it better to thaw an iced (buttercream Icing) cake in the refrigerator? I froze my cakes and then carved them and I put a cooked pudding for filling. what if I thaw it outside of fridge will the pudding filling be spoiled? Help!!!!

No I didn't freeze the pudding! The cakes were frozen so I could carve them.
