Help! I am new to this and got a request for a birthday cake tonight. Can I use my best pound cake recipe for decorating. These people love my pound cake and I don't have time to experiment with new recipes and don't have time to go to the store for a boxed cake. Thanks!

Most of my cakes are pound cake style. They hold up sp well.
