Hello, I want to make this morning the coconut cream pound cake folloing a receipe I''m not very experienced. So here is my question it says 3 cups of flour and only 1/2 tsp of baking powder, I usually use 1 tsp of baking powder per cup of flour, could the receipe be wrong or do you think it will work with only 1/2 a tsp.

I would always advise to follow a recipe exactlly the first time you make it.......if you feel it doesn't rise as much as you'd like then the next time you make it maybe make some adjustments!
