Alright, I've heard a few different twists to the cake recipes as to how you should bake the 3D Bear pan cake... I did a test cake this past weekend (you can see it in my pictures). I was happy with how it turned out except for the left foot fell off after I put the stars on it. It was cracked when I took it out of the oven but I just was hoping it would stay on... I got it to look okay in my picture because I edited out my finger holding the foot up icon_smile.gif I've heard that adding pudding would help or a pound cake mix. If you use the pudding recipe, do you add the whole box? and then would you have to refrigerate it? Also, what kind of chocolate cake mix do you use? I used Duncan Hines Fudge mix which turned out like a REALLY dark chocolate... I'm personally not a fan of chocolate to begin with and this smell when it was baking almost made me sick. Thanks everyone ahead of time to whoever answers my q's and gives some extra tips icon_smile.gif

the directions for those cakes are recommended to use pound cake.
If you have the cracking issue again put frosting in the cracked area.

I use a box of any kind of Duncan hines mix,
1 box of instant pudding (to go with the flavor of cake)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup water
4 eggs

That makes a nice thick cake that won't fall apart.
You don't have to make chocolate if you don't want to!

I found adding a cup of flour to my regular mix/recipe made a nice pound cake that held together really well in the 3D pans.
