I need a cowboy theme graduation cake, I have many ideas but the client does not want to spend much money on it. Needs to be for 30 people. It is for her daughter and son in law who will graduate next week and LOVE horses etc.

Maybe this type of cake, these directions were give to me by someone: Here cake looked awesome, I even think she won first prize at the fair.

Cowboy Hat Cake

The brim is a 15 1/2 inches circle that you can trim is little on the sides till it measures 14 inches across. If you e-mail me I can send you a picture of a form that a persons husband made out of metal to form her hat brim that you can make a copy in poster board. I put the fondant on the hat and trimmed it using the hat as a pattern.

I used three 8 inch rounds that were trimmed to oval shape. If you have a small oval you can use that as well.

Here is a picture of an idea for a sheet cake... I keep it for my cowboy loving family hoping someday my sister will get hitched and I can use it for her shower cake...
You could say on the cake... Congratulations to the graduating couple
