all your leftover flowers, frosting and cake??

Hmmm... so I was shopping around the dollar store today and found this cute round vase and the idea bulb goes off! icon_lol.gif I had so much leftover fondant roses and cake that maybe I can make a giant cakeball inside the vase.

So here's what I did. I iced the inside of the vase in buttercream, let it sit in the freezer for 15 minutes to let it crust, crumbled my leftover cake and mixed creme boquet coffee creamer, stuffed in the vase making sure I don't mess up my BC and then decorated with my leftover flowers. Voila!!! A neat and quick mother's day gift using leftovers!

I'm so excited that I wanted to share. Think of all the fun stuff you can do. I know I have a lot of leftover RI flowers from my classes. Guess I'm off to the dollar store tomorrow to get more of these vases. Here's a pic of what I did.

That is just way too awesome! I love the idea! And Mother's Day is coming.

And what about doing this with the sports ball pan?

Mind if I use the idea?

I was wondering that too, but my solution would be to just grab myself a fork and start digging.

Theresa, sure you can use a sports ball pan. I think that would be awesome! But this idea is more for leftover cake, frosting and flowers.

How to eat it? Just dig in since it's small enough to serve two or maybe even three! thumbs_up.gif

It's the liquid coffee creamer. You can find them in different flavors usually in the milk aisle. HTH.

someone recently posted a link to get a coupon for a free bottle of the creamer. I think it was at coffeemate.com
