Yep, and took part of the cake with it. It has to be ready for a function at 6PM so I took the leftover fondant I had and made roses to cover the hole... you can see it in my pics as they are too big to attach...
It still looks goofed up...

Oh no! Such a shame to happen to a pretty cake like that, but you did a good job covering it up.
