I got this idea from Boween, from the Retirement Cakes section of CC. I totally copied it and she was nice enough to give me tips and advice for how to do it. It's perfect, because I work for an airline and it was a cake for someone transferring to another city (whose name is Jason, as you can see!). Although mine didn't turn out as well as hers, luckily everyone who saw it didn't have hers to compare it to, so they thought it was the coolest thing ever! It was my first time doing figure modeling, and it was kind of fun! I hope the attachment comes through - it was giving me a problem earlier. If it doesn't, you can click on my photos to see it. Thanks!

Hey what is Jason's last name? My brother-in-law is a pilot transferring this month. Are you with Delta? I see you are in Atlanta.

Yes, I'm with Delta! He's not a pilot - he's transferring to the San Diego airport to be a lead agent. He's really excited! Wish I could live in San Diego!

Great cake!
I have two friends who are flight attendants for Delta. Actually, one of them is a stay at home mom, now. Are you a flight attendant or do you do something else for them. Just curious!

Wow - I see that you're in Doraville! I used to live there at the Meadowglen Village apartments - at least 7 years ago. Anyway, I work in Customer Relations (called Customer Care at Delta).

Thank you everyone for your kind words! This was definitely one of the most fun cakes I've ever done!
