I just started the Wilton 1 course and have not even done my first full cake yet, but I am more addicted to this sight than myspace!
Everyone here is so nice and supportive of each other. Furthermore, your cakes are phenomenal. After struggling with stars and dots last week, I came to the conclusion that people don't realize just how challenging this hobby/profession is!

Welcome to CC!!! and welcome into the world of cake decorating!! yes it's a lot of work but you love to do something it doesn't matter. And yes this is very extremely addictive!!! full of advice and tips and tricks..... Even after being in the cake decorating thing for a few years already I've learned so much stuff, I've improved myself and it shows in the orders I get!!!
