I was going to make mini books for the teachers at my kids preschool (about 26) cut from a sheet cake (about 2 x 4 inches) iced in bc and book cover in fondant. Only question is what book cover should I use for the books, need something fun and creative but not to difficult to pull off considering the number. It is for teachers of infant through 5 years of age. Any ideas!!!!!! icon_biggrin.gif

How about an Eric Carle book like the Very Hungry Caterpillar? The pictures are simple but very recognizable. You could paint directly onto the fondant.

I would decorate them with something like "21 more days to go"...and maybe a beach umbrella...something to make them smile about the school year ending!

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. My kids love that book (ages 4 and 5) and have loved it for awhile. Plus, the cover would be fairly easy.
