Fondant Can You Eat It?

This might be a dumb question, but hear goes. . . . . Can you eat fondant?I have read about so many using fondant and some mention they remove fondant before cutting.

Yes, you can eat it; there are some really good brands and recipes out there. The wilton fondant tastes bad and smells bad; and sometimes, fondant gets hard before you cut the cake, so its not really palatable anymore. If you found a really good mix, some people mix fondant and RBC, you have the extra in there to keep it soft.
