So my 4 yr old wants the barbie cake dress...I decided to make that but I also wanted to do some cookies to incorporate. I made some heart shaped cookies, just wondering what I should do with them to make them look cute with the cake. If any1 has pics or suggestions let me know! ~Melissa usaribbon.gif

Check the gallery for cookies made for weddings. The heart shape cookie is used a lot to depict the bride's dress. You could modify it to fit your theme by adding colors and such.

You could also ice the cookies in" Barbie pink" and then write Barbie in white icing so it resembles the writing on the Barbie box. Hope this helps. I have three boys,no girls, and the last time I was around Barbies was 22 years ago. OMG, I just made myself feel old !!!!!!

I was going to suggest making some flower cookies and decorating them in barbie colors. I did that when I made a barbie cake, but since you already made hearts I like heidisuesmom idea. Decorating the hearts in barbie pink sounds great!

Flowers are a good idea... maybe the traditional sportscar, or handbags, shoes, MAYBE a barbie face... (but that can get weird if your hand slips..)

The sports car would be fantastic!! You could also decorated the hearts with flowers, even put handbags and shoes on the hearts.

why not do a transfer of barbie on the cookies??? I just did some sweet pea cookies and I did chocolate transfers and put them on the cookies and and then flooded the cookies with more melted chocolate yummy!!! It was super easy and not nearly as time consuming as I thought they'd be.......they went really quickly actually!!
