Cecile Gady at www.cakeworks.com, does awesome striped chocolate cakes, they are beautiful and I would love to know how to achieve this. Do you put different colors of chocolate together and roll or what?

Striped cakes are made with tulip paste. It is a chocolate mixture piped directly or scraped directly on a Silpat mat. after being chilled you pour a sponge batter over the design and bake. The cake is thisn and I have use them in ring molds and such.
