would you use to make the sun's 'rays' on this design (excuse the mess that is my design - I can't draw in paint to save my life! The cake will be MUCH better icon_lol.gif !). I was thinking a leaf tip would do the job, any other thoughts? Thanks!

depending on how big, I think the 352 leaf tip would be perfect!!!!

What about pull out stars with #16 tip? They use them to make flames and lion's mane. Does that sound like what you are trying to do???

Sorry, I should have said, this will only be a little 4in round, so I don't need anything too large, I think the 352 might just do it. I think I'll try with a bit of buttercream beforehand lol!

For me I would make the out of color flow or white chocolate. Make template of the ray, outline, fill and the lay on the cake for a 3d effect. Or use fondant for the same effect.

Good luck , look forward to seeing the final cake.

I just so happen to have some leftover orange MMF! Worth thinking about, thanks! I just want to make it a little work as possible as I'm not getting paid much beyond supplies for it (about $12 to be exact - it will cost me about $7-$8 to make!).
