I made this cake for a baby shower. It was half chocolate and half golden yellow torted and filled with a mousse like filling. Covered in butter cream with fondant accents. Oh...it was a 9 x 13.

Was 40$ too much????

I'll have to go and read how to attach pics in the forum but the cake is in my pics...clothesline cake - blue with fondant teddy bears..

Thanks guys!!

Cindy

That look like a fair bit of work, so at $40, no, you didn't charge too much! I would probably have charged a bit more if the truth be known shhh.gif

I'm not a pro at pricing them, but I don't don't think $40 for that cake was to much to charge at all!! Wonderful cake!! thumbs_up.gif

Thanks guys, I felt kind of bad when I asked for $40 but it was quite a bit of work...I'm no pro so it takes me a while to do cakes.

I think the cake was adorable and I am always the one to underprice because I feel who would want to pay so much for a cake but that was a very fair price in my opinion!
