Hello Everyone! How are you all doing? Good I hope! I know I don't post as many messages as the majority of you, but I am always reading all those good advices from you guys!
All those advices helped me make my first stacked cake. I made this for my B-day last weekend and everyone was impressed even me! icon_lol.gif

You did a great job!!! How did you get your colors so bright? Do you use Americolors? I have a 1st birthday cake to do in a couple of weeks that needs bright primary colors, and I'm a little worried about getting it nice and bright. Any tips?

I love the colors. That's the best part of making your own birthday cake, adding whatever you like.

Great job!

Potatocakes,
I did use americolor, since they are on sale I bought every color available hehe, my husband did not understand why I did such thing, but again he did not get mad at me haha! It is my first time using this brand and I find them very strong, all you need is a little bit and voila! bright and shiny!

atm1230,

Welcome to Cake Central!
I don't know if you Have to but I haven't ever heard of anyone not putting anything between the layers. You can put a lot of different things between the layers though frosting, pudding, jam and a lot of other things too. I think it looks very pretty when it is cut if you have something between the layers.

Which Americolors did you use for your blue and hot pink/mauve??
I have a graduation cake at the end of the month and they want bright colors.
