Hi everyone:
Well, I must say that I am worry about this cake and cupcakes I made for tomorrow celebration of Nurses Day at my work place. I guess I was not into cake decorating this evening. I don't think I did a good job this time. Although, in the past I have messed up too, but at least I didn't have to present to anyone. I am somewhat upset about my outcome.

Anyway, with the cupcakes I tried to make a stethoscope, a heart and Rx for the medication sign. The cake does not fit the occasion, I should have stuck with the medical theme. icon_cry.gif

I am enclosing the cake and the cupcakes, I have no shame. icon_redface.gif

Just wanted to vent.
Hugs to everyone and thanks for listening.

icon_lol.gif As an RN myself, I would be happy that someone spend the time to make us nurses anything. At my hospital, they don't celebrate nurses day. It might make other professions feel left out. ( Unlike when they celebrate secretaries day) ( Nothing against secretaries!!) I think they look good. And it will be appreciated. Believe me!

Good luck.

I think the hearts are great! Good job with your roses. Too much medical stuff might be too cold, the hearts warm it up. icon_wink.gif

I have to ask, when exactly is Nurse's Day? I did a google search, and got so many different dates that now I'm confused. One says 5/6, another says it's this whole week... I'd love to take something in to my kid's pediatric nurses- they are always so sweet (and patient) with my kids.

My hat is off to all of you nurses here at CC!! You have a tough job!!

I think you did a great job! Working pt for Hallmark at our hospital I know they give cards (lol) but not much else to the staff. I know our nurses would flip for these!!

I would have loved any cake, but we don't have nurses day in Germany, we are supposed to be invisible, unless the doc or patients wants something. Your cakes are beautiful, everyone can see the love and effort you put into them, and don't you DARE think otherwise.

I am an RN and love your cake and cupcakes. It was Nurse's Week and it was all last week. I made some nurse inspired cookies for my coworkers. Yay Nurses!!
