I took almost an entire box of 100 plastic decorator bags and cut the ends to save myself time, well guess what? I cut many of the too much and now the coupler slips right through. Is there anyway to save them??

when you go to use the bag, get a ziplock sandwich bag and fill it with the icing and the coupler and slide it in the decor bag. You can use the sandwich bag to hold the coupler, and in case the sandwich bag breaks, the deco bag will catch the rest of the icing.

Great idea. I have also cut some of my bags too big and ended up throwing them out. I will save mine now!

Not really sure if this will work, but I guess it is worth the try. Someone wrote about how they took their food saver and put another seal in their bag so that they could pipe two colors at once. I wonder if you could just put another seal to make the bag smaller at the tip to hold the coupler. I hope this make sense.

I have also done this. I went to Wal-Mart & bought some of the clear really small hair ties( That you use to make ponytails with.) I put the coupler in the bag & used the clear band to help hold it in place.

Isn't there a large coupler that fits the large bags, but holds regular tips?
