My MIL loves lighthouses, I have seen some on different sights, however I am kind of in the dark (he he) on the actual construction, would I dowel it? would it be enough for a 1.5 hour trip in hilly terrain? What size pans?
Any input apprec Thanx Heather

Here are instructions for a 2D one...

On this page are instructions for a bottle shaped cake. If I wanted a large 3D lighthouse, this is how I would do it...

I love the cake in the gallery too. Maybe you can PM her and see if she'll share how she did it.
