I just quoted a lady for a full sheet cake. She wants one side white cake with fresh strawberries and the other side with chocolate cake with fresh bananas. Oh and fresh whipped cream filling. I quoted her $80. Is that to far out? We're e-mailing back and forth, so she hasn't got back to me yet.

I think that is a great price. I don't think she could go anywhere and get that kind of cake for that price. That will be a ton of work for you and that is generous in my opinion. Sounds yummy too. Good luck.

I think that is a fair price for that cake and it sounds great!!!! That is a big cake!!!!! Fresh fruit fillings, too!! Not to mention real whip cream. I usually crumb coat a whip cream cake with buttercream (very light) so the cake will not suck all the moisture out of the whip cream. Your whip cream will last longer that way. HTH ~Donna
