Frankly, I didn't even know there WAS such a thing, but someone just told me about this. I was wondering if anyone has used one, and if it is worth the money. They cost around 200-250 dollars. I am trying to decide whether I should buy a lifter or an edible image printer.

Hmmmmmm......I have never heard of one of these. That also sounds kinda expensive. I always just use my big fondant roller to help lift my fondant.

If you are going to pay that much for anything from Wilton, Don't buy it! Most everything from them is just a waste of money except for their little gadgets. If I had to make a choice it would be the edible image printer.

I just looked at the fondant lifter from sugarcraft and in my opinion it definately is not worth that amount of money. I say go for the printer also. You should definately get your moneys worth from that.
God luck on your decision.

Thanks pinkbunny! I read all the posts, and interestingly enough, all the positive input came from the people who actually used the lifter. All the negative feedback came from those who never used one.
They look, from the instructions, to be a great timesaver to me. Sometimes when covering a cake with fondant , I feel like I need about 8 hands.
