I bought some creme bouquet from a local cake supply shop and made some cookies (that I have yet to ice) last night. OMG! icon_surprised.gif They have such a wonderful taste that we were eating them uniced! icon_lol.gif

I just had to share that! If you haven't tried yet, try it! It takes the cookie taste to a whole new level!

I haven't used it in any cookies yet but I really like what it does for frosting. Here's another vote for people to try it!

Could you tell me how much you added? Was it in place of vanilla or another flavoring? TIA

I will have to try that next! Was it buttercream? Sounds yummy.

I did not replace the vanilla. I used 1 tsp of vanilla and 1 tsp of the creme bouquet.

I used it in this BC recipe.

I still used 1 tsp butter extract but used 2 tsp creme bouquet instead of the vanilla. But I think it would be good with the vanilla too - it seems to compliment many flavors.

I think I'll have to try it in cookies too!

I put it in my yellow cake, in place of the almond flavor.

An interesting blend of lemon, vanilla and other complementary flavor notes. Gives your icings, cakes or favorite recipe a new flavor twist.

Know that this is not my definition, I got it from Kitchen Krafts. I am not at home (I'm at work) icon_redface.gif and I don't have the bottle near me to describe it to you.

It's great!

Thanks! Sounds good. You add with or instead? Do you order it from cake place or can you get it at grocers?

Which brand did you purchase? There are a few on the market, from what I understand.

Thanks!

I got it from Country Kitchen Sweet Art (www.countrykitchensa.com). CK is the brand. Inexpensive and yummy!

Stock up because I wouldn't be surprised if they requested it everytime.
