Can anybody help me? I've never done this before - I have some printed images (non edible) that I need to attach to fondant - is there any special way I do this? Thanks so much for any info!

If working with non-edible paper, you should either print on heavy card stock and the stick to dampened fondant. Otherwise, if you use standard paper, the moisture will warp the paper. The other option is to laminate the sheet and stick it to dampened fondant.

Personally, I recommend using edible frosting images. This is easily done, but works best when applying the frosting sheets (edible image sheets) onto white or light colored fondant. I sponge a tiny bit of water on and then just press the frosting sheet onto it. I did this on my shoebox cake to attach a label to the box and the label to the shoe on it.
