Can you make a reverse copy of the picture? That way you can do a buttercream transfer and when you flip it over you get the original picture. There is a tutorial in the articles on how to make a frozen buttercream transfer. I prefer to used the candy melts and do mine that way. It's way easier for me. Do you have access to the colored candy melts there?

Ok, have you looked at the instructions for the frozen buttercream transfer. That might be your best bet. You are in France aren't you? It may be hard for you to get the colored candy melts there.
I think you can do the transfer fairly easily and they look really cute on the cake. Or you can lay waxed paper on top of the reverse picture and outline with piping gel or a really thin line of icing that is darker than your buttercream and then lay it on the cake and fill it in with icing using the star tip.

I hope that will help. If you need more advise just ask, someone else may have better ideas and instructions than me.

Missed the other question. Candy melts are little buttons of white chocolate that are different colors. Some are actually milk and dark chocolate. They are not trully chocolate, artificially flavored, but they melt nicely and are good for dipping.
