recently i did my first icecream cake...(am from the midwest orginally, now, icecream cakes to me means basically half cake, half icecream...well my customer on the other hand...was expecting it to be 100% icecream with little crunchies on it...he was very pleased with the cake though overall...just wondered has this happened to anyone else....

I think most people that think ice cream cake think of the Dairy Queen ice cream cakes which is all ice cream and those little crunchy things. That is what I thought, til I had one from Baskin Robbins that was 1/2 cake and 1/2 ice cream and sooooooo much better. It just depends on where people have bought cakes before.

Maybe you can make one for yourself and take a picture of it with a slice cut out and next time someone asks for one you can show them how yours are made. I would just think people would like the 1/2 cake, 1/2 ice cream so much better b/c most people have ice cream with their cake right!!!!
