So I just received a magic line 10 x 15 x 3 pan and I've never baked anything but smallish round cakes before. I thought I'd use the white almond sour cream cake recipe as posted on cake central. I assume that I'll bake at 325F with 3 or 4 flower nails....but about how long should I expect this monster to bake?

Just curious so I have a starting point.

Thanks
Lorri

Here's info on an 11x15x3 pan which should be pretty close....

That's a nice article...but it only talks about batter amount....not time. I can't find anything on a pan this big and deep. Hmmmm....I'm thinking now that maybe it wasn't the right one to buy!

You didn't avail yourself of the Wilton links that were provided.

The Wilton charts not only give batter requirements, but also frosting amounts required, recommended baking temperatures and times and the estimated servings by pan size.

The closest Wilton pan is 11x15x3 which will give you a rough time frame.
