I bought a lot of stuff from a lady who used to have a bakery. She had a display with the fountain and everything. Anyway, the cake dummies were covered with perma ice (a long time ago) and I wondered what i should use to remove it. I haven't tried anything yet for fear of damaging them. Should I try or just scrap them?

I haven't worked with permaice, but I am guessing some warm soapy water. The dummies should be styrofoam so they should be safe.

But here is a bump hoping someone else who has used this can help

Perma Ice = Permanent Icing

It's essentially thinned stucco and it isn't meant to be removed--ever.

Probably no harm in soaking the lot in water for a bit to see if it will soften up and come off, but it may just be a write off in the long run.

Let us know what happens.
