How do I prevent my fondant and gumpaste from cracking. My fondant sometimes starts to crack when I place it on the cake and when making gumpaste flowers it starts to crack as well. What can I do to stop this from happening?

Thanx

yes, I'm kneading really good. It seems a little dry and I'm not sure if that is the problem.

Try kneading in a little crisco while you work with it.

Sometimes if you over knead it or if its too soft can also cause this problem. I find if its a hot day and my hands are hot I get this problem alot aswell. So there can be many things that is making your fondant do this...
