My DD who is 8 and I are learning cake decorating together! icon_biggrin.gif This is her first cake she decorated by herself! She wanted to make a Topsy Turvy cake! (Mom just stacked them and as you can tell I am a beginner as well icon_redface.gif - my 1st topsy turvy too) You can see she wrote on the cake "Belle's 1st Cake"! CUTE! I know, I know, I am bias!

It is chocolate cake with buttercream filling and covered in MMF with MMF decorations.

She wanted me to post it on CC and see what the professionals thought!

I think it's great that she actually put colour on the MMF decorations. It's says to me that she wants to put in the extra effort. Great job on her part!

She is so excited that everyone likes her cake! Thanks so much for your wonderful comments! She loves to look through the new photos everyday her at CC!

She has always loved to do crafts so when I decided to try cake decorating she jumped right in! I have definite competition on my hands!
