What exactly is a tres leche cake?

It stands for something like "three milks cake". You make the cake, then when it's finished baking you poke holes in it and pour a mixture of three kinds of milk over and then refrigerate - I think top with whipped cream.

I believe the recipe is posted in the recipe section!

I did try it once. I found that it made the cake rather wet, but it was very delicious.

I think some people use it for decorating but I just don't see how that would work. Maybe I did it wrong, but to me it was more of a dessert cake.

my fav cake from a bakery is tres leches.. I think they make it not so wet, but i havent ever had it stacked or anything.. but it is GOOD

I want to try this one as well. but I would liek to try the regular tres leches cake first
