Being on here for the last week or so has really inspired me, and reminded me how much I love cake decorating. I hated my job, so recently i quit it, and was going to "figure out" what I wanted to do.

I know its not a huge thing, but today I got a job at the Ralph's (grocery chain) bakery!

I want the experience and the speed and practice so I signed up!

Way to go and Congratulations. Just remember that what bakeries do is not all there is in decorating. So if you get bumed out come back here and get a dose of the real stuff. I used to work at a bakery and almost stoped cake decorating cause of the same ol stuff I had to put out.

Congrats!!! I think that would be fun (and hard) I have been thinking of that when my last dd goes to school. We have a little grocery store nearby. I may try that for a couple years before branching out on my own. Good luck to you I hope you love it thumbs_up.gif
