I have a 4 year old cat who just can't resist Satin ice fondant. When I took classes last fall, that is what our instructor gave us and the smell would just drive him crazy. I made butterflies and he was trying to take then away and eat them. On the othe hand, my DH can't stand the smell of Satin ice, when I used it he wouldn't let me come near him...
I have 7 cats and 2 dogs. (I am also a groomer and work for a vet). Normally the cats and dogs pretty much just avoid each other. A couple of months ago, they found something they can agree on. Red velvet cake. I had it on the kitchen table while I made up the buttercream, and turned around to find a dog eating one side while the cat was happily gnawing on the other. Boy was I TICKED! I had to quick! bake another 2 layer half sheet, decorate and deliver within 6 hours! Normally they are banned from the kitchen while I work, but I was only 10 feet away! Now they are banned until it is delivered!! ![]()
My kittens will eat anything and everything. Even though we keep their food dish full all the time, they will chew open their bag of food if they get in the pantry.
One day, they found a bag of potting soil on the back porch and chewed it open, only to find that it didn't contain anything yummy!
You really can't turn your back on anything while they're around!
i just love cats =) he looks almost drunk!
