My hubby is in Florida right now, he is graduating from the PGA program as I type this. I'm so proud! So I made him a golf ball cake , it is currently in my fridge, so I can smooth it via roller method. Problem, my 18 month old found my roller, and destroyed it! UGGHH, kids... Can I use parchment/wax paper and smooth by hand. I can't use MMF, or fondant, hubby doesn't care for it. Help, any ideas for a quick fix?

Have you tried the VIVA paper towel ? It really does a GREAT job of smoothing.....

yes, viva is an idea, but if you don't have any you can use wax paper. i used it before and it works like a charm.
