I need opinions here.

Do you think it would look nicer to do a big present cake square topped by an 8x8 present square...OR a rectangle half sheet present with an 8x8 square present on top turned at an angle?

Thanks,
Traci

The two squares sound better to me.

Both would look nice to me. The retangle would look like a shirt box "wrapped". If I did the sheet cake I wouldn't center the 8x8 on it though, I'd have it off to the site. icon_smile.gif

Both ways sound good to me. The rectangle one on the bottom is different and might be cool. You could have the ribbons be not centered on the rectangle box and then have the smaller cake in the corner where the ribbons come together and then you'd have some space to write on the rectangle cake if you wanted...

i think the rectangle with the square offset would look really neat.

Thanks. I've decided to go with a 12" sq on bottom and an 8" sq on top.
