Tilting Tiers

I have a problem with tiltling tiers. Separtely my tiers are level (or they appear to be), once stacked, they lean. Any tips??? I use cardboard cake boards for separtetors.

it sounds like your dowels are not cut to the same exact length...that is so important.

well that makes since..how tall should they be??? the exact height of the cake or a little shorter? I'm just an accountant trying to relax.. icon_eek.gif

They should be the same height as the cake or SLIGHTLY higher. Use one to measure the rest.

well that's definately the problem, mine have been too short.
