I am preparing for a wedding cupcake tree. I thought I would top the cupcakes alternating flowers and initial cookies. This was my first time decorating cookies. What do you think? I like the cookies but I also like the gumpaste/fondant cutouts that are pictured as well. Cookies or gumpaste? Any other ideas? Her color is fuschia and her favorite flower is the stargazer lily. I intend to incorporate the lily on the tree topper ( a 6 inch round cake ).

they are both cute, but i'd prefer the scalloped monogram cut out. the cookies are well done but give more of a casual feel rather than a formal wedding feel-

I like the cut-outs also. It seems like they would have a cleaner, classier look on the cupcakes. Both are cute!

Thank you.... After seeing them side by side the cutouts do look sharper for a wedding.
