I know that you can make mmf in a KitchenAid but what about regular fondant or chocolate fondant???
I have done Chocolate MMF in a kitchenaid. You need to sift in a 1/4 cup of cocoa powder to the powder sugar first.
I don't see why you couldn't do regular fondant in a kitchenaid. You end up with a very similar texture to regular fondant.
Yes I use a mixer for my fondant just to mix it a bit then I finish by kneading by hand. It makes the texture much better if you do that.
