I have filled a cake with raspberry filling I bought pre-packaged at the cake supply store. It is stored at room temperature in the store and has no directions on the bag--do I have to refrigerate this cake?

I think with almost everything once you open it you 'should' refrigerate it. I probably wouldn't if it was just for me but better safe than sorry. I wouldn't stress over it sitting out a party or something that is for sure.

I am going to say I think you do and I only say this because I know that once you open the bag you are supposed to store it in the fridge. But I also realize that is for long term storage, not just over night. Geez...I didn't help at all did I? I think it would be better to err on the side of caution though.

They only need to be refrigerated to prolong the shelf-life. If it only needs to keep until tomorrow or Saturday, you'll be fine at room temp.
