I recently made them for the first time and am curious as to how much you charge for gumpaste shoes.

Also, if you would share your opinion on price or what you would charge for this cake, I would appreciate it. It is 12" by just over 4", torted twice with WBH bc for filling.

TIA,
Penny

I think I'd charge about $50. Although, my friends often tell me I don't charge enough! IDK What were you thinking of charging? I so want to try and make the shoes, too!

That is sooo cool. I love it. For a 12 inch cake torted and filled I would charge $45. Then for the shoes (what size 7 hehehe they would fit me I'll buy them, pink is my fav)) I would charge at least $30. Awesome cake.

I made this cake for my goddaughter's birthday, so how much to charge wasn't a thought. but, then I had people asking me at the party. icon_confused.gif So, I figured I'd ask my cc friends their opinion. Thanks for the replies. thumbs_up.gif

Anyone else willing to offer their thoughts on price (for the cake and/or the shoes)?

I don't charge extra for shoes. it's just anoter atractive for clients. they don't take me too long to make now that I have the templates done. I also like one show more than the pair on a cake

I have charged $100 for shoe toppers and I would charge $250 for that cake. All those pink fondant pieces is alot of work.

Are you sure that's the right link? I saw a picture of two little faces peering out of a box at me! icon_cool.gif

I don't know what happened. icon_sad.gif I posted that link a couple of days before I even uploaded the chocolate covered oreos pics. icon_confused.gificon_confused.gif If you take a look in my gallery, it is the Pink Bratz Cake. I'd love more opinions on price. Thanks for looking.
