How To Make Gum Paste Or Fondant Hydrangeas?
Decorating By Junecakes Updated 5 May 2006 , 9:24pm by scWMI
I have a wedding cake due in August. The bride wants gum paste or fondant hydrangeas. Does anyone have any how-to's on this??? I told her I have never done these before and we might have to end up buying them pre-made. She is willing to do this, however, I really want to make them myself! I have searched this site to no avail. I would love to learn but no classes nearby. Can anyone help?!? ![]()

Interesting you say that. I ordered a set of cutters and a veiner for Anthuriums from him for a wedding cake I was doing, and was surprised when I did not recieve instructions. I e-mailed them asking if they had them and I was told that he does NOT send out instructions with his cutters and that if I needed them, I needed to buy an autographed copy of his book at 25.00 since Amazon.com was out of stock on them....and they only charged 14.95 for them. Consequently I have contacted the couple and they changed the flower for the wedding cake.
